The architectural vision of Studio Lasse Lyhne is about engaging big picture issues combined with an attention to the quiet, sensory moments that define everyday life: soft light filtered through trees, the scent of timber and morning coffee, warm stone beneath your feet and birdsong heard through open windows. It is about a feeling of timelessness, about respectful place making. And about working with natural and reused materials, elevated by skilled craftsmanship. 

Each process starts from a point of joy and curiosity, carefully building an investigation into the crux of each project through research, observation, immersion, listening and conversation. This uncovers the qualities, potentials and challenges that we translate into visions and clear concepts focused on functionality and experience, tailored both to each individual client and the world around them.

Before establishing Studio Lasse Lyhne, Lasse gained his experience at a series of prominent architecture offices in Copenhagen, New York and Oslo, designing everything from new cities, museums and royal palaces to chicken coops.
